The Bournemouth Seahawks offers basketball opportunities to all local players, from the Bournemouth, East Dorset and West Hampshire regions. We cater for players aged 10 - 19.  Starting in Year 6 (U12) we teach players the fundamentals of the game, playing fun but competitive basketball in the Dorset Basketball Association (DBA) Junior Leagues.  We have U12, U14, U16 and U18 teams at this age.  Our top players then compete in the DBA league, which puts our boys against men.  The Seahawks coaching staff want to push our players to be the best squad in the region.  

Sessions include basic skills & fundamentals to learn and can be practiced at home, as well as looking at Team play, decision making and tactics and progressing onto both offensive and defensive set plays.

We aim to promote inclusivity and a friendly approach to sessions, as well as using more experienced players as mentors for younger or less experienced players.
